Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Brookfold is a trading name of Ventura777 Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 17465612), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. For privacy questions, contact Adie Roberts at hello@brookfold.co.uk.
2. Our role
For enquiries, marketing and our own business records, we are the controller. When we build or run automations for a client business, we act as a processor on that business's behalf, under a written data processing agreement. The business remains the controller of its customers' data.
3. What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, business name, phone and message.
- Business contact details from public sources (for example Companies House and company websites) used for business-to-business outreach.
- Records of our correspondence and contracts with you.
- Basic technical data needed to run this website. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies on this website.
4. Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to enquiries and arrange audits: legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract.
- To deliver our services and invoice: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounts and meet legal duties: legal obligation.
- To contact businesses about our services: legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to run our business, such as email and document hosting (Google Workspace), our form provider (Netlify Forms) and our website host (Netlify). We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become clients are kept for up to 12 months. Client and financial records are kept for six years after the end of the relationship to meet legal requirements. Data we process for client businesses is returned or deleted at the end of our contract, as set out in the data processing agreement.
8. Security
We use least-privilege access, two-factor authentication, a password manager and access logging. Wherever possible, automations run inside the client's own accounts rather than on our systems.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing (including direct marketing), and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email hello@brookfold.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
10. Complaints
Please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
